Recently two KRO Bands were entered into the Monmouth Branch Striking Competition, Llanarth on 21st May.
We were in the Call Changes section.The bands were:
16 & Under
1. Claire Eickhoff;
2. Jenny Millar;
3. Christian Brown;
4. Matthew Allman;
5. Aled Jones( conductor);
6. Ryan Williams.
49 faults.
13s & Under
1. Claire Eickhoff;
2. Kate Stanley;
3. Georgie Kerby;
4. Jenny Millar;
5. Christian Brown (conductor);
6. Scott Waters.
104 faults.
This gave them the posititions of the 2nd least and 3rd least faults out of 5 competing bands they could not officially be given 2nd and 3rd places as they were scratch bands with ringers from more than one tower.
The 1st Place went to Shirenewton
4th to Bassaleg
and 5th place to St. Woolos
